Job summary

Dow in Illinois is seeking an Associate Analytical Technician to support manufacturing operations by conducting laboratory analyses, preparing samples and maintaining instrumentation. You will report results to operators, engineers, and teammates, using established procedures and analytical methods.

The role requires basic lab skills, willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts and overtime, and legal work status in the United States.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Overtime may be required.
• U.S. work authorization without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Train to perform routine analyses under supervision.
• Collect samples per the Sample Plan.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance of analytical systems.
• Evaluate data validity for routine analyses.
• Monitor analytical systems and escalate issues as needed.
• Document and archive analytical results.
• Follow EH&S and ODMS procedures.
• Suggest improvements to lab processes and tools.
• Handle non-routine requests with senior team member.
• Perform lab housekeeping and restock inventory.
• Process shipping paperwork.
