Job summary

Dow is seeking an Associate Analytical Technician in Kankakee, IL. You will support manufacturing by conducting laboratory analyses, preparing samples, and maintaining instrumentation to generate critical data for production teams.

The role requires following SOPs and safety protocols while reporting results to engineers and operators. You will train on routine analyses, perform sample collection, and participate in equipment preventive maintenance, with opportunities to advance in a supportive

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Willingness to work 12-hour, rotating shifts
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• U.S. work authorization with no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Trains to perform routine analyses under supervision until proficient
• Collects samples according to the Sample Plan
• Performs basic preventative maintenance of analytical systems
• Evaluates data validity for routine analyses and takes appropriate action
• Monitors analytical systems and escalates problems as needed
• Documents, communicates and archives analytical results and data
• Adheres to EH&S and ODMS procedures for tasks
• Suggests improvements to lab work processes and tools
• Escalates non-routine requests for follow-up
• Performs lab housekeeping and restocking
• Handles shipping paperwork
