Job summary

Amazon is seeking a motivated and data-driven Lead of Pre-construction to support the Americas data center build-out. The candidate should have strong project planning from due diligence through design, contracting and closeout.

As a leader, you will manage a team of builders, develop budgets, drive constructability improvements, and deliver schedules aligned with capacity. You will partner with Real Estate, Design and Project Management and collaborate with procurement to secure supply

Qualifications

• 10+ years of management experience in datacenter operations or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• Experience in datacenter delivery (design, commissioning and construction).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of builders developing project budgets and campus plans.
• Drive constructability improvements and manage project schedules.
• Partner with procurement to contract supply partners and capacity.
• Develop metrics to ensure budget accuracy and cost avoidance.
• Influence teams and ensure on-time execution.
