The role requires NYS RN licensure, a Master's degree (or active enrollment) and leadership experience. Responsibilities include staffing, scheduling, staff interviews, and ensuring compliant documentation and safety standards.

Qualifications

• NYS RN licensure required.
• Five years post-licensure with progressive leadership responsibilities.
• Master's degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration or related field, or current enrollment in a Master's program.
• Minimum two years management/supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify staffing needs based on patient acuity and nurse level of practice.
• Plan monthly and vacation time schedules.
• Interview and recruit nursing staff.
• Complete shift and/or daily patient care and unit assignment sheets.
• Delegate tasks with clear supervision for successful completion.
• Monitor quality of nursing care and documentation of the nursing process.
