Qualifications

• NYS RN Licensure is required.
• Minimum five years post-licensure with progressive leadership responsibilities.
• Master’s degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration or related field or current enrollment in a Master’s program.
• Minimum two years management/supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify staffing needs based on patient acuity and nurse level of practice.
• Plan monthly and vacation schedules.
• Interview and select nursing staff.
• Oversee daily patient care and unit assignments based on acuity.
• Delegate tasks and supervise staff for successful completion.
• Ensure quality of nursing care and proper documentation.
