Stony Brook University Medical Center seeks a Nurse Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of the offsite, reporting to Facility Physicians. Travel between practice locations will be required to provide leadership, training, and coverage.

Responsibilities include clinical oversight, policy implementation, staffing, payroll oversight, and ensuring regulatory compliance and patient satisfaction.

Formación

• Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license required.
• Minimum 2 years management experience.
• Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Excellent communication, decision making, leadership and problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinical oversight and guidance for nursing staff, medical assistants, etc.
• Schedule staff to meet operational requirements and supervise patient scheduling and registration.
• Oversee payroll and staff performance; hire and train clinical staff.
• Ensure facility compliance with current healthcare regulations and maintain patient records.
