NYU Langone Health is seeking a Scheduling & Registration Associate for the Ambulatory Surgery Center in Manhasset. You will schedule appointments in Hospital Information Systems, liaise with referring offices, and handle pre-registration and registration while creating the first impression of the institution.

You will collect co-pays, verify documentation, and ensure patients understand their financial responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience.
• Strong written and oral communication and multitasking skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Schedules patient appointments in Hospital Information Systems.
• Interacts with referring physician offices and staff.
• Answers and filters phone calls promptly and uses Cyracom when needed.
• Completes patient pre-registration and registration processes.
• Collects co-pays and informs patients about financial responsibilities.
• Verifies documentation for accuracy and avoids duplicate medical records.
