Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking an Ambulatory Patient-Care Coordinator to create a welcoming environment and guide patients across all hospital campuses. You will ensure smooth patient flow, provide accurate information, and collaborate with nursing staff and support services to enhance the patient experience.

The role emphasizes initiative, problem-solving, and cross-functional teamwork to improve lobby operations and patient access.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least two years of customer service experience is required; an associate degree may substitute.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a preferred skill.
• Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide accurate information and instructions to individuals across all hospital campuses.
• Maintain a consistently professional and positive demeanor with customers and colleagues.
• Handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment, including greeting, information desk, coordinating patient needs, and IT systems.
• Coordinate the flow of patients, families, and caregivers across all facility lobbies with strong customer service.
• Execute essential job functions related to patient flow and support patient access functions.
• Collaborate with leadership on short and long-term projects to improve waiting room spaces and remodeling efforts.
• Evaluate patient flow, wait times, and operational processes (scheduling, registration, checkout, delays).
