Summary

The Ambulatory Patient-Care Coordinator will create a welcoming and supportive environment for patients and visitors at all hospital campuses. This position is responsible for providing accurate information, guiding patients, and ensuring a smooth patient flow throughout the lobbies of all facilities. This role requires initiative, problem-solving skills, and the ability to foster collaboration between support services and nursing staff. Additionally, this position will actively participate in patient experience initiatives to strengthen relationships between staff and patients. The incumbent in this position should be capable of efficiently managing patient flow and supporting patient access functions. Responsibilities include designing strategies and improving processes for patient flow and lobby operations across all facilities. The role also provides hands-on assistance with patient mobility needs, including responding to lift and transfer requests, safely assisting with wheelchair, stretcher, and mobility device transport, and supporting staff with patient movement needs in accordance with safety protocols and patient care standards. Effective communication will be essential in this role, as it will help foster organizational alignment, enhance the patient experience, and promote a patient-centered environment across all hospital campuses. Incumbents in this role have a positive impact on patient care in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Job Title: Ambulatory Patient Support Coordinator

Minimum Education Level: High School Diploma/GED

Preferred Education Level: Associate's Degree

Licensure Certification Needed: Yes

Minimum Licensure: Basic Life Support (BLS)

Salary Range: $17.17 - $25.90

Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
