Carson Tahoe Health in Carson City, NV seeks an Ambulatory Infusion Center Medical Assistant for per diem day shift. You will provide clerical support and patient care under the nurse manager and professional nurse, supporting the Ambulatory Infusion Center and Cancer Resource Center.

Required are a high school diploma, NV Laboratory Assistant license or eligibility, and AHA BLS for healthcare providers; preferred phlebotomy training and prior MA experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current license as a Laboratory Assistant through the Nevada DHHS at time of hire or able to apply within 6 months of hire.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for healthcare providers required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical support and patient care in the Ambulatory Infusion Center and Cancer Resource Center under supervision.
