Mount Sinai Health System seeks a Practice Supervisor to oversee day-to-day ambulatory front-end operations, ensuring adherence to Patients First service standards and staffing models. The role supervises front-end staff in reception, checkout, and clerical functions, and handles scheduling issues as needed.

You will coordinate with the Medical Team, maintain data integrity, and support insurance verification and co-pay collection processes.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in customer service, supervisory role, and healthcare setting preferred.

Aufgaben

• Monitors and assists staff with day-to-day activities including clinic and physician scheduling, call volumes and surge needs, with adherence to service standards.
• Review staff appointment scheduling for accuracy to maintain the right appointment at the right time with the right physician.
• Assist in the preparation of daily, monthly and year-end reporting.
• Assist in creating training materials and scheduling guidelines, with continued training of staff on scheduling appointments.
• Maintain high quality levels of customer service and data integrity in patient calls and reporting using standardized reports.
• Provide next level guidance and assistance with escalated MyChart calls.
• Ensure appropriate reimbursement for services; plan and organize orientation and in-service training on insurance verification and co-pay collection procedures.
