• Greet patients for scheduled and urgent appointments.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information.
• Collect co-payments from patients on arrival.
• Obtain signatures of consent for treatment and billing information.
• Collaborate with insurers for prior-authorizations as needed.
• Ensure pre-authorization and referrals are obtained prior to visits.
• Verify eligibility for procedures or tests.
• Review billing discrepancy reports and research errors for resolution.
• Maintain accurate records and perform clerical duties.
• Prepare reports or spreadsheets for physicians as requested.
