Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking an Ambulatory Service Representative for the Ambulatory Float Pool. The role supports patient flow in ambulatory settings, handles scheduling, intake, and coordination with multiple providers. Requires strong communication, experience with scheduling systems, and high school diploma.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 40 hours weekly. On-site position with potential for signing bonus discussions during interview.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 3 years of related experience (waived with Associate/Bachelor degree).
• Ability to use specialized applications software and computer systems.
• Strong communication and human relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and patients for scheduled and urgent care appointments.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information.
• Schedule urgent care appointments and coordinate tests with clinicians.
• Assist with co-pay collection and patient billing preparation.
• Maintain accurate records and support clinicians as needed.
