Job summary

Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking a qualified program coordinator to manage the Ambulatory Integrated Block for the MD program. The role involves independent work under the block directors, collaboration with clerkship coordinators and MCWfusion faculty to achieve curriculum goals.

You will develop materials, schedules, templates, and assessment data; maintain course timelines; support OSCEs and outreach activities; and coordinate faculty recruitment and training for clinical experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; experience may substitute for education.
• 3 years of experience minimum.
• Master's in Education, Business/Management or related field preferred.
• Program Teaching or Educational Management, Instructional Design, supervision of others preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and collaborate on Ambulatory Integrated Block materials, schedules, forms, and reports.
• Build scheduling templates to place students with faculty preceptors.
• Maintain course timeline, deadlines, and course materials and grades.
• Work with clerkship coordinators to populate schedules for 75 students three times yearly.
• Create system for student rankings of selective IM, Peds, and Surgical blocks.
• Create and maintain assessment data for the Ambulatory Block grading committee.
• Build and maintain online courses in Brightspace and curricula data in OASIS/MCWConnect.
• Maintain Ambulatory block timeline and course-gradebook.
• Organize virtual and in-person sessions, assessments, and events.
• Coordinate outreach with community organizations and affiliate partners.
• Coordinate assessment and evaluation activities with independence.
• Recruit and train program faculty and staff for clinical experiences.
• Provide in-person support during Patient Based Discussion sessions.
• Collaborate with STAR center and OSCE Coordinator for OSCE events.
• Respond to and accommodate student Absence Requests.
• Participate on committees relevant to the course.
