Job summary

The Medical College of Wisconsin, Inc. is seeking a coordinator to oversee department educational programs. You will schedule events, assemble enrollment information, and ensure compliance with accreditation guidelines across programs.

You will liaise with faculty, administration, and national organizations, develop databases to track activities, recruit instructors, and support learners and leaders on a wide range of educational issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3 years of experience in education programming or a related field.
• Ability to coordinate multiple educational activities and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Independently execute institutional or program activities (e.g., educational events, training, orientation, schedules, and sims).
• Maintain proficiency in accreditation, board, and institutional requirements.
• Coordinate and monitor activities related to these requirements to ensure full compliance.
• Support leaders on issues related to accreditation bodies, national boards, and affiliates.
• Serve as primary liaison with faculty, administration, other departments, and national organizations.
• Develop and maintain databases to track, schedule, and record activities related to the institution, program(s) and learners.
• Provide information, support, and problem solving for leaders, faculty, staff, and learners.
• Coordinate recruitment of preceptors, instructors, and speakers.
• Create brochures, flyers, communications, handbooks, and other educational materials.
• Coordinate assessment and evaluation activities.
• Monitor program budgets and lead or oversee the work of support staff.
• Manage third-year medical student clerkship rotations within three blocks throughout the academic year – schedules, mentor pairing, communications.
• Organize, coordinate, and maintain completion of VSLO.
• Support residency program director in completion of their VSLO requirements.
• Organize, coordinate, and maintain completion of SLOE.
• Support letter writers in completion of SLOE requirements.
• Oversee OBGYN elective courses.
