Job summary

Mobile Medical Response is seeking an EMT-Basic in Bay City, MI to provide transport and care for medically ill and injured patients in emergency and non-emergency situations. The EMT-Basic will follow MDCH guidelines and collaborate with EMS teams.

The candidate must be licensed in Michigan as EMT-Basic, hold a valid driver license, and obtain certifications (PHTLS, PEPP/PALS) within 6 months. They will uphold professional conduct and ensure vehicle readiness.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed in Michigan as EMT-Basic.
• Valid Michigan driver license with clean record.
• Healthcare Provider certification from American Heart Association.
• Trauma certification (PHTLS) within 6 months.
• Pediatrics certification (PEPP or PALS) within 6 months.
• FEMA NIMS IC-100.b, 200.b, 700 & 800.b.
• Ability to work under stress in emergent conditions.
• Clear communication with medical staff and bystanders.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate ambulances safely to destinations.
• Assist with patient examination and care at scene and transport.
• Maintain vehicles and equipment in ready condition.
• Communicate with EMS and medical controls as needed.
• Comply with FCC regulations for communications equipment.
