Job summary

Mobile Medical Response is seeking an EMT-Basic to provide emergency and non-emergency patient transport in Michigan. You will examine patients, deliver prompt care, stabilize conditions, and communicate with hospital staff during transport.

The role requires current Michigan EMT-Basic licensure, a valid driver license, and certifications with the American Heart Association. You must be 18+, willing to obtain trauma and pediatrics certifications within six months, and follow established

Qualifications

• Currently licensed in Michigan as an EMT-Basic.
• Valid Michigan driver license with acceptable driving record.
• Healthcare Provider certification from American Heart Association.
• Trauma certification (PHTLS) within 6 months of employment.
• Pediatrics certification (PEPP or PALS) within 6 months of employment.
• FEMA NIMS IC-100.b, 200.b, 700 & 800.b.
• Ability to perform under stress in emergent conditions.
• Proficient in English communication with medical and non-medical staff.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Support the Mission Statement, policies, procedures, and standards of MMR.
• Examine patients for signs of injury or illness and assist other medical personnel.
• Provide prompt, efficient care and stabilize patients during transport.
• Prepare supplies and equipment to return the unit to service quickly.
• Operate and manage emergency vehicle decontamination and readiness.
• Communicate with other emergency services and medical controls as needed.
• Follow FCC rules for communications equipment use.
• Maintain vehicle readiness and documentation of patient care.
