Job summary

Bay Mills Indian Community is seeking an EMT-BASIC to provide pre-hospital care in accordance with MDHHS and EUPMCA protocols. You will perform patient assessment, basic treatment, and transportation, with emphasis on communication with EMS, police, and fire services.

The role requires current Michigan pre-hospital licensure, BLS/CPR certification, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining patient safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Requires current pre-hospital license in Michigan through MDHHS.
• Must be BLS/CPR certified.
• Familiarity with EUPMCA protocols is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide EMS care per EUPMCA protocols and MDHHS requirements.
• Perform patient assessment, treatment, and transportation.
• Maintain clear radio and written communications with agencies.
• Attend mandatory trainings designated by EMS Coordinator.
