Qualifications

• Licensed EMT-Basic in Michigan and a valid MI driver license.
• Healthcare Provider certification from American Heart Association.
• Ability to obtain trauma (PHTLS) and pediatrics (PEPP or PALS) certifications within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt emergency and non-emergency patient care and stabilization.
• Prepare supplies and equipment to return the unit to service.
• Drive and operate ambulance to destinations in accordance with laws and standards.
• Communicate observations to receiving facility and document patient information.
• Maintain vehicle readiness and proper stocking of supplies.
• Coordinate with other EMS and medical personnel at scenes.
• Adhere to professional and ethical standards on/off duty.
