The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Part-time Phlebotomist at Bell Hospital to perform blood draws, specimen labeling and processing in a fast-paced clinical lab. You will follow regulatory standards, ensure patient safety, and support LIS/HIS workflows.

Requirements include a high school diploma, completion of an external phlebotomy program or 1+ year experience, fluent English, and ASCP PBT certification preferred. Some driving and flexible scheduling may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completed external phlebotomy program.
• 1+ year experience in specimen collection and processing OR training program.
• ASCP PBT certification preferred; Valid driver's license recommended.

Responsabilités

• Performs venipuncture and blood draws following standard protocols.
• Labels specimens, ensures accuracy, and enters orders in HIS/LIS.
• Maintains patient safety and follows pre-analytical variables guidelines.
• Interacts with patients and staff, provides good customer service.
• May assist at multiple locations as needed.
