Job summary

L’Anse Creuse Public Schools is seeking a 1 on 1 SACC Special Education Paraprofessional for the morning shift (AM). The role requires assisting the instructor with learning materials, supporting students, and communicating with staff. Training requirements include two years of college credit or an associate degree plus a state-approved test option.

Excellent communication skills are essential. The position runs Monday through Friday from 6:15 am to 9:00 am, with a deadline of October 27, 2026.

Qualifications

• Two years of college credit, an associate’s degree or passage of a State approved test required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate and work with individual classroom instructors.
• Experience working with students.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom instructor with development and presentation of learning materials and instructional exercises.
• Support academically at-risk students in classroom and tutoring settings.
• Communicate effectively with instructors and staff.
