Job summary

L’Anse Creuse Public Schools in Michigan seeks a 1 on 1 Special Education Paraprofessional for Preschool – Early Childhood Center. You will support the classroom instructor with learning materials and instructional exercises, and work closely with individually designated students.

A minimum of two years of college credits or an associate degree or a state-approved test is required; Michigan teaching certificate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of college credit, an associate’s degree or passage of a State approved test required.
• Michigan teaching certificate preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate and work with individual classroom instructors.
• Experience working with students.
• Ability to assist academically at-risk students in a classroom setting and in a individual tutoring.
