L’Anse Creuse Public Schools is seeking a 1 on 1 SACC Special Education Paraprofessional - pm to support special education students after school. The role requires collaboration with classroom instructors, tutoring, and helping with instructional materials in a 1:1 setting. Training is required (16 hours per calendar year).

Qualificações

• Two years of college credit, an associate’s degree or passage of a State approved test required.
• Ability to assist the classroom instructor with the development and presentation of learning materials and instructional exercises.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate and work with individual classroom instructors.
• Experience working with students.
• Ability to assist academically at-risk students in a classroom setting and in a individual tutoring.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the classroom instructor with learning materials and instructional exercises.
• Tutor students individually or in small groups.
• Support academically at-risk students in the classroom and during tutoring sessions.
• Communicate with instructors to coordinate supports.
• Follow district guidelines and training requirements (16 hours/year).
