Job summary

L’Anse Creuse Public Schools seeks a 1 on 1 SACC Special Education Paraprofessional for afternoon hours. The role is part-time, offering structured support to students and collaboration with classroom instructors in a middle/high school setting.

Required are two years of college credit or an associate’s degree or completion of a State approved test. Must have strong communication skills and experience assisting students, including at-risk learners, in both classroom and tutoring contexts.

Qualifications

• Two years of college credit or an associate’s degree or passing a State approved test required.
• Ability to assist the classroom instructor with the development and presentation of learning materials and instructional exercises.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate and work with individual classroom instructors.
• Experience working with students.
• Ability to assist academically at-risk students in a classroom setting and in a tutoring capacity.
