Job summary

Applicant must have 2+ years in foundry or heavy manufacturing melt/furnace work, be within 45 minutes of Cedarburg, and hold a HS diploma or GED with US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of tenure at each previous employer.
• Experience operating industrial furnaces and melting aluminum/zinc/magnesium alloys.
• Solid mechanical aptitude; basic math for weighing and counting materials.
• Residence within a 45-minute commute of Cedarburg, WI.
• High School Diploma or GED; US work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate, charge, and maintain industrial melting furnaces.
• Tap and skim molten metal to maintain quality and temperature control.
• Pull samples for lab analysis and verify alloy composition.
• Perform basic furnace maintenance and preventative tasks.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, hoists).
• Track production and document material quantities and attendance.
• Enforce safety, 5S and Lockout/Tagout protocols.
