Management Performance Associates is seeking a Furnace Melt Operator for our Cedarburg, WI facility. The role focuses on operating and maintaining high-pressure aluminum die-casting melting furnaces, ensuring alloy quality, and supporting 1st shift production.

Tap and skim furnaces, charge raw materials, and pull lab samples for analysis. Requires 2+ years in foundry/melt operations, US work authorization, and a 45-minute commute.

Formación

• Demonstrated career stability with at least 2+ years at each previous employer.
• Experience operating industrial furnaces or heavy foundry/melt operations.
• Solid mechanical aptitude and basic math for weighing and counting materials.
• Fully authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Residence within a 45-minute commute of Cedarburg, WI area.

Responsabilidades

• Operate, charge, and maintain industrial melting furnaces with ingots, sows, and scrap according to melt specs.
• Tap furnaces and skim impurities while controlling temperature and cleanliness.
• Pull and label lab samples for chemical analysis and alloy verification.
• Perform basic furnace maintenance and preventative maintenance work orders.
• Operate material handling equipment including forklifts and hoists to move materials.
• Record production quantities on logs and maintain attendance and quality reporting.
• Follow OSHA safety rules, Lockout/Tagout protocols, PPE requirements, and 5S standards.
