Job summary

KingRecruitingServices seeks a Furnace Melt Operator for a high-pressure aluminum foundry in Cedarburg, WI. 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:15 PM) with direct-hire status and pay up to $31.00/hr ($64,480/yr) based on experience.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math for weighs/counts.
• Experience operating industrial furnaces or heavy manufacturing melt operations.
• Must be able to commute within 45 minutes of Cedarburg, WI.

Responsibilities

• Operate & charge furnaces with ingots, sows and scrap per melt specs.
• Tap furnaces and skim impurities to maintain temperature and cleanliness.
• Pull liquid metal samples for lab testing and alloy verification.
• Perform basic furnace maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, hoists) to move materials.
• Record production data and ensure accurate attendance and quality reporting.
• Follow OSHA safety rules, Lockout/Tagout and 5S standards.
