Food Management Search, Inc. is seeking a Furnace Melt Operator for the 1st shift in Cedarburg, WI. This direct-hire role supports high-pressure aluminum die-casting operations, with a daytime schedule and competitive hourly pay.

Responsibilities include charging and tapping furnaces, sampling for quality analysis, and maintaining safety and 5S standards in an ISO-certified facility. Experience in heavy manufacturing and a stable work history are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of tenure at each previous employer.
• Experience operating industrial furnaces and handling aluminum/leaded alloys in heavy industrial environments.
• Solid mechanical aptitude and basic math proficiency for weighing and counting materials.
• Must reside within a 45-minute commute of Cedarburg, WI.

Responsabilités

• Operate and charge industrial melting furnaces with ingots, sows, and scrap.
• Tap furnaces and skim impurities to maintain quality and temperature standards.
• Remove and label metal samples for lab analysis and alloy verification.
• Perform basic furnace maintenance and troubleshoot equipment.
• Safely operate material handling equipment to move ingots, sows, and finished product.
• Record production quantities and maintain accurate logs and reports.
• Follow OSHA safety rules and maintain 5S workplace organization.
