Job summary

Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) seeks a Client Service Supervisor for Alternatives to support fund accounting and client service operations in Boston. You will help clients optimize performance, manage complex calculations, and coordinate reporting with the Alternatives Client Service Group.

You will engage with a global client base, mentor staff, and contribute to policy improvements while leveraging BBH’s extensive resources and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a business-related field.
• 3+ years of Alternatives Fund Accounting, Global Custody, and/or Transfer Agency.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge in Hedge Funds, Private Equity, or Real Estate Funds.
• Highly proficient with Excel.
• Working knowledge of WSO preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and approve NAV packages and allocations for funds.
• Reconcile transaction details from ledgers to supporting docs.
• Assist clients with complex problems including IRR and waterfall calculations.
• Support year-end fund audits, regulatory reporting and tax prep.
• Coordinate with BBH Alts reporting team quarterly and annually.
• Prepare and review investor capital calls and distributions.
• Enhance policies, procedures and internal controls with new tech tools.
• Oversee training and cross training of staff.
• Provide coaching and participate in performance reviews.
• Assist in new business and product implementations and conversions.
