Job summary

Brown Brothers Harriman is seeking a Client Service Supervisor for Alternatives in Boston. You will lead client servicing for complex alternative funds, coordinate NAV packages, reconcile data, and collaborate with investment teams to deliver solutions that protect clients’ financial well-being.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a business-related field.
• 3+ years of Alternatives Fund Accounting, Global Custody, and/or Transfer Agency preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred but not required.
• Detailed knowledge in Hedge Funds, Public/Private Debt Funds, Private Equity, or Real Estate Funds.
• Highly proficient with Excel.
• Working knowledge of WSO preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and approve NAV packages and allocations for funds.
• Reconcile transaction details and balances from the general ledger to supporting documentation.
• Work with clients to solve complex problems, including IRR, management fee and waterfall/carry calculations.
• Assist in year-end fund financial statement audit, regulatory reporting and tax preparation services.
• Coordinate with BBH Alt financial reporting team during quarterly and annual cycles.
• Prepare and review investor capital calls and distributions.
• Aid in implementing new policies, procedures and internal controls and related tech tools.
• Oversee training and cross-training of employees and provide coaching.
