David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support the Alterations department and deliver an A+ customer experience. The CSR greets customers, answers phones, books appointments, presses garments, and ensures items are ready for pickup, reporting to the Store Manager.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1–2 years of retail experience in apparel, knowledge of POS systems, and sewing experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent degree.
• 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment.
• Prior sewing experience is helpful.
• Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm over phone, chats or in person, adapting style to suit customers by problem solving and clear communication.
• Use all systems to manage customer flow to deliver five-star customer experience.
• Meet service vows: Prepare, Welcome, Meet Needs & Be There for all customers and complete operational checklists.
• Provide an exceptional service experience to multiple customers and escalate issues to leadership when needed.
• Explain how alterations can enhance dress fitting for events and partner with Alterations.
• Promote all alterations services and personalization options.
• Maintain store standards and promotional readiness to ensure a flawless shopping experience.
• Maintain high dress code standards as required by policy.
• Greet and escort customers to alterations for appointments.
• Press, steam, and spot clean merchandise.
• Inspect garments altered/steamed/pressed for pristine condition before delivery.
• Build long-term relationships to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Support inventory by processing special orders and pickups.
• Process transactions accurately at cash wrap.
• Seek assistance from Alterations Manager for unresolved issues.
• Keep alterations room clean and organized.
• Perform duties assigned by store management.
