Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Customer Service Representative to support the Alterations department and deliver an A+ customer experience. You will welcome customers, schedule appointments, process alterations, and ensure items are ready for pickup, reporting to the Store Manager.

The role emphasizes high service standards and teamwork in a busy retail environment. The position is part-time with benefits including team bonuses, on-time pay options, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience is helpful.
• Experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly in person, on the phone, and via chats, adapting to each customer.
• Manage customer flow and deliver five-star service using store systems.
• Explain alterations options and promote services and personalization.
• Maintain store standards and assist with appointments and pickups.
• Escort customers to alterations and ensure items are ready for pickup.
• Support inventory and cash wrap, processing transactions accurately.
• Collaborate with Alterations Manager to resolve issues.
