Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp facilities across the US. This on-site, live-in position requires overseeing all prep and production for a designated day part, managing staff, and ensuring allergen safety and sanitation at a fast-paced camp.

The role offers competitive seasonal pay with a performance bonus, full room and board, and travel expense assistance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required.
• Strong leadership and cooking skills; able to manage food allergens.
• Physical ability to stand long hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to live on-site in rustic camp setting; 6-day/70-hour weeks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Oversee prep and production for designated day part.
• Ensure allergen safety protocols and sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, and camp leadership.
