Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp facilities across the US. The position is on-site, full-time, with room and board provided, and requires managing all prep and production for a day part while ensuring allergen safety and high-quality service.

The role demands 2+ years in a leadership kitchen role, ServSafe Allergens certification, and strong skills in leadership, cooking, allergen identification, and problem

Qualifications

2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.
Strong leadership, cooking, ability to navigate iPad, allergen identification, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
Oversee prep and production for designated day part, ensuring quality and timely meal service.
Strict allergen protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan, etc.) and Health Department standards.
Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting and budgeting.
Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
