Sun Communities & Sun Outdoors seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance across our communities in Ludington, MI. You will maintain homes, grounds, and facilities, including streets, clubs, pools, and equipment, while delivering excellent resident service and curb appeal.

The role requires outdoor work year-round, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and proficiency with hand tools, power equipment, and basic computer tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months maintenance experience in apartment/manufactured housing preferred.
• 6 months snow removal experience (if applicable) preferred.
• 6 months general maintenance knowledge and repair experience preferred.
• Must endure outdoor work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on homes and facilities.
• Keep grounds, streets, and common areas clean and maintained.
• Repair minor home/building issues as needed.
• Inspect irrigation and water systems and meters.
• Snow removal and lawn care where applicable.
• Report issues to the manager and complete checklists.
• Assist with supervision of service contractors.
