Job summary

Dow’s Alkoxylation Process Technology Expertise Department is seeking a Tech Center Specialist with a focus on supporting PU and DIS alkoxylation activities. The role involves providing technical and project support to internal plants and External Manufacturing, leading initiatives from feasibility through implementation, and ensuring EH&S compliance. The preferred location is the U.S.

Gulf Coast, with flexibility for other U.S. or global locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent military experience (E6) or Canadian PO2 with 5+ years relevant experience.
• U.S. work authorization required; no visa sponsorship provided.
• Experience in Alkoxylation, plant troubleshooting, scale-up of new products, and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshoot External Manufacturing facilities and internal Alkoxylation plants producing polyols, polyglycols, surfactants, lubricants and fluids.
• Lead multi-functional teams to assess and address plant technology gaps and escalated events.
• Drive value-creation projects at Alkoxylation PU and DIS plants; communicate risks and barriers to success.
