Job summary

Brinks Home is seeking a hands-on Alarm Service Technician to install, service, and inspect low-voltage security equipment for customers across assigned routes. The role emphasizes service, accountability, customer focus, growth, and integrity as core values.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Comfort with climbing ladders and working at heights.
• Low-voltage license or alarm installation certification.
• NICET I is required.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer sites to install, service, and inspect low-voltage electronic security equipment.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and replace system components as needed.
• Drive to customer homes and perform service; handle lifting up to 30 pounds.
• Conduct system demonstrations and customer education.
• Perform site evaluations to ensure systems meet customer needs.
• Test equipment operation and verify signaling for service activation.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer systems and functionality.
• Maintain safe and clean job sites and ensure customer satisfaction.
