Job summary

Signature Aviation in New York, NY is seeking an Airside Experience Leader to guide the Airside Experience team in delivering safe, precise, and guest‑centric service for aircraft, crew, cargo, and visitors. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• One to two years of experience and/or training in aviation or cargo operations or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Trained and signed off to perform specialty responsibilities (e.g. oil and oxygen service for aircraft) and other required certifications (e.g. towing, deicing) as required by base specific operations.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass company background checks (criminal and motor vehicle), drug tests, meet airport background check requirements to receive and maintain an airport security badge, and be insurable by the Company's applicable insurance policies.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the jurisdiction of employment.
• Excellent vision and coordination to move and/or direct aircraft and visually inspect aircraft

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance of Airside Experience Specialists and/or Associates to ensure accuracy and adherence to policies.
• Coordinate, assign duties, and provide shift supervision on shift.
• Provide on-the-job training and assistance to Airside Experience Specialists and/or Associates.
• Serve as a resource on all guest service matters and as an escalation point for guest inquiries.
• Work with the team to conduct airside operations safely and efficiently following SOPs.
• Collaborate with guests, clients, and aircraft crew to meet service needs. Operations include cargo, fueling, de-icing, lavatories, ground power, water, parking, marshalling, wing walking, catering, towing.
• Prepare for arriving/departing aircraft, identify open tasks, and raise safety concerns.
• Operate and drive ground service equipment such as fuel trucks, de-icing trucks, ground power units, tugs, and stairs.
• Load/unload luggage and cargo into/out of aircraft and PAT or guest vehicles.
• Provide professional guest service with a positive attitude to ensure an exceptional experience.
• Offer safe transportation when driving shuttle with guests and luggage.
