Job summary

Signature Aviation is seeking an Airside Experience Associate in Virginia to deliver hands-on, guest-focused service on the ground in a private aviation environment.

The role involves handling baggage and freight, monitoring security points, and operating ground support equipment, with shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends. You will support ramp activities and aircraft services while maintaining safety and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must pass airport background checks and drug tests.
• Must hold a valid state driver’s license.
• Authorized to work in the jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload baggage, freight, and cargo; transfer packages between planes or other transport modes.
• Operate ground service equipment such as tugs, trucks, conveyors, and other freight handling gear.
• Conduct identifications for crew, passengers, visitors and vendors entering the terminal and AOA per security procedures.
• Monitor facilities including street side, parking, terminal, hangars and AOA.
• Assist Airside Experience Specialists to ensure guests receive an exceptional experience (ground power, potable water, wing walking, chocking, stairs).
• Stop work for unsafe conditions; report concerns to management and cooperate in addressing issues.
• Maintain safe, clean, and secure ramps and operations.
• Create accurate records of time worked and services performed.
