Job summary

Signature Aviation seeks an Airside Experience Specialist to be the face of our private aviation terminal in San Jose. You will blend hospitality with hands-on operations, delivering a seamless guest experience from wheels down to wheels up.

Responsibilities include fueling, de-icing, parking, towing, and coordinating with crews, guests, and vendors. You will operate ground support equipment, ensure safety compliance, and maintain professional service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Authorized to work in the jurisdiction of employment.
• Ability to pass background checks and airport security requirements.
• Valid state driver’s license; CDL may be required in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to conduct airside operations safely and efficiently according to SOPs.
• Collaborate with guests, clients, vendors, and aircraft crewmembers to meet service needs, including fueling, de-icing, lavatory, ground power, water, parking, marshalling, wing walking, catering, and towing.
• Proactively prepare for arriving/departing aircraft; identify open tasks and report safety concerns.
• Operate and drive ground service equipment such as fuel trucks, de-icing trucks, GPUs, tugs, and stair trucks.
• Load/unload luggage and cargo to/from aircraft and vehicles.
• Provide professional guest service and a positive attitude to ensure an exceptional experience.
• Offer safe transportation when driving shuttle vehicles for guests and luggage.
• Maintain safe, clean ramps and operations; ensure fuel handling quality and documentation.
• Follow safety, security, and guest service requirements; stop work for unsafe conditions and report concerns.
• Follow emergency response procedures and security protocols as dictated by Signature Aviation and airport.
• Create accurate records of time worked and services performed.
