Half Moon Empanadas is expanding at Ronald Reagan National Airport in Washington, DC, and seeks a Store Manager to own the location, lead the team, and deliver measurable results. You will supervise daily operations, manage schedules, inventory, payroll, and budgets while ensuring superior guest service in a fast-paced airport setting.

The role requires 2–4 years in food-service with leadership, strong math and financial acumen, and the ability to communicate clearly in English.

Qualificações

• 2–4 years of food-service, restaurant or retail experience, including supervising a team.
• Solid business math: percentages, budgets and P&L statements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Clear communication in English, spoken and written, with patience and tact. Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
• Calm under pressure, able to set priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to build strong working relationships with partners across the company.
• High school diploma or equivalent. Restaurant365 experience is a plus.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends and holidays as the business needs.
• Able to pass the background screening and badging required by the airport authority and federal regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, train, coach and develop team members and Team Leads so the store runs smoothly on every shift.
• Build the schedule and set work assignments, adjusting them to business needs.
• Run pre-shift huddles and monthly team meetings to share updates, recognize wins and drive improvements.
• Handle and resolve team member issues with fairness, tact and respect.
• Review guest feedback regularly and adjust operations to meet demand.
• Resolve food quality and service concerns directly with guests, turning issues into positive experiences.
• Launch and promote new menus at your location.
• Manage food, beverage and labor costs against the store budget to hit revenue and expense targets.
• Read and act on budgets and P&L statements, and set par levels based on business needs.
• Order products, run weekly and monthly inventories, and submit and review biweekly payroll.
• Walk the store daily, check temperatures, appearance and taste, and coach the team on any corrections.
• Inspect deliveries for quality and safety and make sure products are staged and rotated (FIFO).
• Keep a safe environment for guests and team, in line with health regulations and all local, state and federal laws.
• Audit shift systems and procedures, including daily bank counts and weekly QA audits.
• Keep equipment in good shape with preventive maintenance, and make sure all policies and procedures are followed.
• Always follow TSA and airport security protocols, and make sure your whole team does too.
