Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Shift Manager II to support store operations at the John Glenn Columbus Intl Airport location. You will assist management, supervise associates, and ensure shifts run smoothly while meeting sales and customer service standards.

The role involves opening/closing procedures, training new staff, cash handling, and maintaining safety and food safety practices in line with HACCP standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Experience in food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service preferred.
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions and policy documents; communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day activities of subordinates and coordinate breaks.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures per policies.
• Coordinate on-the-job training for new associates.
• Operate cash register following cash handling policies and ensure security of cash.
• Move supplies between storage and work areas; assist in inventory counts.
• Contribute to product rotation and order fulfillment.
• Resolve customer complaints in line with company policy.
