Job summary

Culmen International is seeking an Airport Screening Operations Manager to lead nationwide TSA screening operations at multiple US airports. This role focuses on staffing, compliance, throughput, and security performance, reporting to the Task Order Project Manager.

Strong leadership, data-driven decision-making, and mission-focused service are essential. You will oversee daily screening operations, coordinate with TSA and airport partners, and drive improvements in throughput and efficiency

Qualifications

5+ years in aviation security, airport ops, or security screening leadership.
Experience supervising large, shift-based teams.
Strong scheduling, staffing, and performance management skills.
Experience in regulated security environments.
Strong communication and stakeholder management.
Must be a U.S. citizen or national for TSA requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead daily passenger checkpoint and baggage screening operations.
Supervise STSOs and other supervisors across shifts.
Develop and adjust schedules based on passenger volumes and flights.
Monitor wait times, throughput, staffing utilization, and security effectiveness.
Coordinate with TSA/FSD and airport stakeholders daily.
Lead rollout of new TSA procedures and directives.
Identify risks and performance gaps and implement corrective actions.
Support incident response and surge staffing as needed.
Develop frontline supervisors and foster accountability and service culture.
Use performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
