Job summary

Culmen International is seeking experienced Airport Screening Operations Managers to lead day-to-day passenger and baggage screening operations under TSA SPP task orders across the United States. You will report to the Task Order Project Manager and ensure staffing, TSA compliance, throughput, and operational performance.

This role requires directing checkpoints, supervising staff, and coordinating with TSA/FSD personnel to meet daily requirements.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in aviation security, airport operations, security screening, or equivalent management.
• Experience supervising large shift-based teams.
• Strong scheduling, staffing, and performance-management skills.
• Experience in a regulated security environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
• U.S. citizen or National and able to meet TSA suitability requirements.
• Ability to work onsite and support 24/7 airport operations.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily passenger checkpoint and baggage screening operations.
• Manage STSOs and supervisors across shifts.
• Develop and adjust schedules based on passenger volumes and flight schedules.
• Monitor wait times, throughput, staffing utilization, and performance.
• Coordinate with TSA/FSD and airport stakeholders on daily requirements.
• Implement TSA screening procedures and directives.
• Identify risks and drive corrective actions.
• Support incident response and surge staffing.
• Develop frontline supervisors and promote accountability and customer service.
• Use data to drive continuous improvement.
