Job summary

Culmen International LLC is seeking an experienced Airport Screening Operations Manager to support the TSA in Sarasota, FL. You will lead day-to-day passenger and baggage screening, oversee staffing and supervision, ensure TSA compliance, and drive throughput and performance at a 24/7 airport operation.

You will mentor frontline supervisors, implement new TSA procedures, and use data to improve efficiency while maintaining security and customer service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in aviation security or airport operations.
• Experience supervising large shift-based workforces.
• Experience operating in regulated security environments.
• Ability to work onsite at a 24/7 airport operation.
• Strong scheduling, deployment and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily passenger checkpoint and checked-baggage screening operations.
• Manage STSOs and other operational supervisors across shifts.
• Develop and adjust schedules based on volumes, flight schedules, and staffing.
• Monitor wait times, throughput, staffing utilization, and security effectiveness.
• Coordinate with TSA/FSD and airport stakeholders on daily needs.
• Lead implementation of new or revised TSA procedures and directives.
• Identify risks and workforce issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support incident response and surge staffing needs.
• Develop frontline supervisors and foster accountability and service culture.
• Use data to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
