Job summary

Horizon Air is seeking a Ramp & Customer Service Agent to handle above- and below-wing tasks, including guest interactions and ramp functions. You will assist guests, process luggage, and support boarding and gate duties in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, US work authorization, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Schedule is flexible with 15–30 hours/week and weekend/holiday availability; starting wage is USD 18.27/hour,

Qualifications

• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have a valid unexpired driver’s license issued by a US state.
• Ability to learn and operate a computerized reservation system.
• Typing speed of at least 25 WPM.
• Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, reach and grasp.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to participate in paid training that may require overnight travel.
• Ability to obtain USPS Mail Handling Certification and airport security clearance.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Minimum age of 18.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with travel needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Work outdoors in all weather while handling below wing functions.
• Perform boarding and gate duties and make announcements.
• Process and secure guest luggage and manage claims.
• Load and unload luggage and cargo with conveyors.
• May be assigned other duties to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
