Job summary

Horizon Air, a regional partner of Alaska Airlines, is seeking a Ramp & Customer Service Agent to perform above- and below-wing tasks, assist guests, and manage baggage and boarding operations. The role rewards a fast-paced, outdoor work environment with diverse duties and opportunities for growth.

Starting pay is USD 18.27 per hour, with 15–30 hours weekly and split-shift premiums. Weekend/holiday availability and travel for paid training may be required. Visa an Equal Opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid unexpired driver’s license issued by a US state, a US territory or DC.
• Ability to learn and operate a computerized reservation system.
• Typing speed of at least 25 WPM.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with travel needs, check-in and boarding in a fast-paced environment.
• Work outdoors handling below-wing functions, baggage, and cargo loads.
• Perform grooming and security checks, manage luggage claims and security processes.
• Support boarding, announcements and standby/upgrade processes.
• Handle luggage processing and, if needed, adapt to varying duties to satisfy guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
