Horizon Air is hiring a Ramp & Customer Service Agent in Eugene, OR. The role performs above- and below-wing duties, including guest interactions and ramp functions, in a fast-paced outdoor setting.

Responsibilities span assisting guests with travel needs, handling baggage and ticketing, boarding, luggage processing, and security duties, with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, reach and grasp.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with travel needs (e.g., answers inquiries, baggage, ticketing, checking-in passengers, boarding flights) in a fast-paced environment.
• Work outdoors in all weather while performing below-wing functions (e.g., transports baggage and cargo, loads and offloads luggage and cargo, aircraft marshaling, pushes back aircraft, aircraft de-icing).
• Perform boarding and gate duties (e.g., assisting and directing guests, making announcements, processing standby and upgrade requests).
• Process and secure guest luggage, file and maintain luggage claims as necessary (e.g., damaged, delayed, pilferage).
• Load and offload luggage and cargo using conveyor belts.
