Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis company, is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to oversee airport parking facilities in Houston. This role leads daily operations, manages staff and contractors, and ensures adherence to budgets and safety standards.

You will coordinate with unions, report on finances, and drive service excellence across locations. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of management experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum two years of management experience.
• Airport, customer service and union experience recommended.

Responsibilities

• Manages operations, employee relations and customer service to ensure successful day-to-day operations of airport parking facilities.
• Directs, manages, and coordinates activities of staff and contract personnel to ensure proper facility operation.
• Prepares annual expense operating budget and ensures the facility operates within budget parameters.
• Reviews and approves bi-monthly expense reimbursement reports.
• Ensures proper parking, security, cash control and customer service procedures are followed by all employees.
• Evaluates staff performance, issues disciplinary notices and handles first-step grievances.
• Acts as primary liaison between the union and airport operation.
• Inspects grounds, facilities and equipment for safe operation and initiates corrective actions.
