Job summary

CLEAR is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to lead daily floor operations at the airport, reporting to the General Manager and coaching the team on security, service and sales. This role requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer experience and operational integrity.

The position emphasizes active floor presence, staff development, and adherence to CLEAR and TSA procedures, while fostering strong relationships with airport and airline stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of leadership experience in customer-facing operations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to motivate and influence others.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency with daily technology.
• Willingness to work a non-traditional schedule including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Spend 80% on the floor in a customer-facing environment at the airport.
• Ensure CLEAR and TSA policy and procedures are conducted with the highest levels of security and integrity.
• Monitor & drive security, service & sales on each shift.
• Manage shift briefings, debriefs & huddles, as well as any changes, breaks, and rotations; coach, mentor, and train the team to meet sales and customer service goals and standards.
• Oversee asset control & devices - understand how our technology works and troubleshoot when necessary.
• Represent CLEAR throughout the airport, TSA and airline community by building strong stakeholder relationships.
• Manage incident prevention and responses.
• Attend station management team meetings.
